Who Are We?

We are the United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF) of Broad Street UMC. As a group of young Christians, we gather regularly for fun, food, and fellowship. We look at our faith indepth, and learn how our faith impacts our lives and the world around us. Our youth group comes together from ten different schools in Cleveland and Chattanooga.

How Does it Work?

We get together for Sunday School, N*Light*N Youth Choir, Small Groups, and FUSION events. You don't have to be a member, or wear a uniform, or comb your hair a certain way; although sometimes, you have to sign up for something in advance. You just have to love God and want to learn more about your faith - and have fun doing it!

We do have a couple of official-sorts who keep things going. Our Youth Council meets periodically to plan events, share ideas, and make sure our youth group is meeting the needs of our members. Our Youth Director, Wes Pardue, handles all the details and lines up volunteers.
