The Unity Center seeks to build hope and opportunity by
promoting educational, social, and spiritual growth for all.
What you can do:
Tutor ~
This is a need year-round for both our school-age students and our ESL program. No teaching experience is required, just a desire to help others learn.
Volunteer ~
We need caring helpers at our after-school and summer programs, as well as people to help with special projects such as the Back-to-School Bonanza or our Easter Eggs-travaganza.
Dinners ~
Local groups and individuals provide dinner one night each week during our Choir program.
Monetary Donations ~
Donations of this sort help our program run day-to-day. We provide everything our students need at no cost to them. We also provide camp scholarships, special interest trips, and awards for good behavior. We are an Advanced Special of the United Methodist Church #3500-301-84.
Special Events ~
Special events at Unity Center call for special donations, such as candy-filled eggs for the Eggs-travaganza and school supplies, toiletries, and gently worn clothing for the Back-to-School Bonanza.
