Broad Street UMC

New Beginnings Class is mostly comprised of parents of preschool and middle school aged children who are committed to a balance of in-depth biblical studies and contemporary topics. Class interaction is the basis of our makeup. The members are committed to regular outside gatherings, including social and service events.

Barnabas Class - the Encouragers - is a discussion class made up of couples and singles of all ages. The group is a caring one that has a lot of fun, both in and out of class. This class meets in the Library.

College/Career Class meets throughout the summer months and on holiday vacations.

Fellowship Class is a class where all ages are welcome. Lessons are biblically based and stimulate open discussion around contemporary issues. The group enjoys fun and fellowship, and is mission-minded. Group acceptance is guaranteed. This class meets upstairs in the Varnell Annex.

FEALTY Class, as the letters of the name indicate, this ladies class is Faithful, Earnest, Altruistic, Loyal, Thankful, and Youthful in their approach to Sunday School.

Pathfinders Class is a small group discussion class that is seeking to be involved in ongoing Bible study.

Reynolds Class is a very caring class made up of singles and marrieds with preschool through college aged children.

Triplett Class is a unique blend of personalities - each contributing greatly to the lessons which are led by two very capable teachers.

Varnell-Day Class is a Bible study class searching for God's Truths and life's direction through Holy Scripture. Round table discussions often lead to lively conversations with others about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Wesley Class is composed of persons, pairs, and spares, who are in the 60+ age group. This class utilizes the Adult Bible series. Quarterly and seasonal socials enable the class to get to know each other on a more personal level. This class meets downstairs in the Varnell Annex.

Other short-term classes are offered during the Sunday School hour at different times of the year.
