Christian Believer Christian Believer integrates Bible study and the teachings at the heart of Christianity. These doctrines and traditions are rooted in Scripture. The starting point is clearly biblical, and daily reading of assigned Scripture is part of the preparation participants make for each wewekly session. Christian Believer is a 30-week study with daily preparation and weekly 2 l/2 hour group sessions. It integrates Bible study and study of the basic beliefs of the Christian faith. Christian Believer yokes doctrine with the Bible as source and vision for renewal of the church. Chirstian Believer concentrates
on the classical doctrines of the Christian faith--those that emerged
in early Christianity as it struggled to understand its Scriptures and
its experience of Jesus, and that have remained central to Christian teaching
through the centuries. Doctrine is the church's answer to questions that
grow out of human life in general and out of Christian experience in particular Contact David Ketchersid at 476-5586 for more information on registration. |
